Chattahoochee High School Generates Nearly $15K for Student-Athletes with SponsorPlace

School: Chattahoochee High School (Fulton County, GA) · Programs funded: Athletics · Launched: May 2025 · Athletic Director: Chris Short

The Challenge

Chattahoochee High School had a strong, supportive community, but no efficient way to tap into it. Like many schools, they relied on traditional booster club fundraising and manual sponsorship outreach, a process that demanded significant staff time and delivered inconsistent results. Securing local business support meant chasing leads one at a time, with no professional, modern way for partners to contribute. As program costs grew, the athletic department needed a scalable solution to connect with community partners and supplement booster funding for equipment, program expansion, and student opportunities.

The Solution

Chattahoochie High School’s SponsorPlace

SponsorPlace gave Chattahoochee a centralized, user-friendly platform to bring its sponsorship program online. The athletic department could present polished, professional digital sponsorship packages and make it simple for local businesses to contribute with just a few clicks. The result was a dramatic reduction in administrative workload paired with expanded community reach and greater visibility for their programs.

To drive traffic to their sponsorship page, the team leaned into what worked best: social media posts pairing student-athlete success stories with direct sponsorship links, QR codes at athletic events for real-time engagement, and active promotion from athletic department leadership and coaches.

We saw immediate engagement when we paired student-athlete stories with direct sponsorship links, our community wants to support when they see the impact.
— Chris Short, Athletic Director

The Results

In their first summer on the platform (May–August 2025), Chattahoochee High School achieved:

  • $14,938 generated in sponsorship revenue

  • 13 local business sponsors secured, led by the Construction and Health & Fitness categories

  • Gold Package was the most popular sponsorship level (indicating that tiered engagement offerings maximize involvement)

  • 1,780 students supported through funded athletics programs

Most importantly, that funding translated into real impact for students. The school was able to reduce financial barriers to participation, ensuring more students could fully engage in athletics and activities regardless of their financial circumstances.
